MIRANDA PLANS TO ATTEND USC NEXT FALL!

As high schools seniors across the country receive responses to early decision applications and get one step closer to their ultimate choices, one of our favorite stars has just made her college decision. After deferring her acceptances to NYU and USC for a year, Miranda Cosgrove has announcedthat she will be joining USC’s graduating class of 2016 in the fall.
The iCarly star told Celebuzz that she’s not going to stop acting just because she’s in college: “I have a friend that actually went to USC and got to keep acting at the same time, and she goes back when she’s not filming, so that would be my ultimate dream. That’s what I really want to do.”
Now that she’s got her college plans all figured out, what about her plans for ringing in 2012? Miranda said: “I never make plans for New Year’s Eve! I always do something random that comes up that day. My friends will go to a party or like one year I watched the ball drop in New York, and that was probably the coolest thing I’ve done.”

Chelsea Lately – November 3rd 2011

“iCarly” star Miranda Cosgrove will appear as Chelsea Handler’s guest on the E! show “Chelsea Lately” on November 3 at 11 p.m. Ben Gleib, Loni Love, and Greg Fitzsimmons are also guests on the show. Yesterday, Miranda updated fans through about the show, tweeting:
Fitting for Chelsea Lately! So excited to be on her show. Big fan of hers.
Maybe Miranda will talk about returning to the role of Margo for “Despicable Me 2” and what it was like working with First Lady Michelle Obama in the upcoming “iCarly” episode “iMeet The First Lady.” Chelsea Handler might even discuss her role as Victoria Justice’s mother in the upcoming film “Fun Size.”

Leaving Sushi Restaurant On Crutches

Actress Miranda Cosgrove (iCarly; Drake and Josh; School of Rock) is seen leaving a sushi restaurant in West Hollywood on crutches. She smiles at the photographers but does not talk to them.
In August 2011, Miranda was involved in a tour bus accident, while on tour that caused her to break her ankle. Her ‘Dancing Crazy’ tour, which was also her first solo tour, has since been cancelled. It was also recently announced that Miranda was named the second highest paid child actor on television for her work on teen show ‘iCarly’, behind ‘Two and a Half Men’ star Angus T Jones.
